Well done to those who took part in the Partnership festival at Redbridge sports centre today. The girls' team came 1st in their group for netball, tag rugby and athletics. There was excellent team spirit from everyone and you should all be very proud of your achievements. Please take a look at the photos from the day.
Selected children were luckily chosen to participate in the Catheram partnership festival. This will take place on Wednesday 30Th June 2010. The activities we will be doing are Netball, Athletics, Tag Rugby, Bean Bag hunt and Multi-sports. For every game, we will be awarded points, and at the end of the day, they will be counted up and the winning teams in each event will get a trophy. Everyone is very excited and we hope to bring back loads of trophys.
Glade are proud to offer each child at least 10 minutes of structured in-class physical activity each day in addition to their 2 hours of weekly P.E. This physical activity may come in the form of Yoga, Take 10 (Aerobics,) Brain Gym or Speedstacking. The video below shows how Yoga can greatly improve childrens' concentration and well-being and in turn improve their learning.
Please note that the Partnership festival to be held at Redbridge sports centre will now be taking place next Wednesday (30th June) and NOT tomorrow as originally stated.
